SAVERIADI FORUM #3 Dear friends, Happy new year from the Saveriadi Team. As said before, we are now going to give you updates as to the situation in Palermo, where the Volley-female tournament will take place. Prof. Trupiano, who’s in charge of the organization in Palermo wants to assure that they’re preparing a warm reception, as typical of Sicily. An équipe made of students, alumni and jesuits scholastics is collaborating with Salvatore Trupiano, and they have planned for the 3rd of July a Welcome Cerimony, then on the 4th the Tournament will start. All matches will take place in the late afternoon, because of the warm temperature; this means that in the mornings there will be the opportunity of many organized visits to town and to the beautiful surroundings of Palermo (as for example Monreale), and also the possibility of going to the beach. On the evenings of the 4th and of the 5th we’ll have at disposition a mega-screen to see the semifinals of the Soccer World Championship in Germany. On the 6th there will be a live music concert going on, and on the 7th the farewell party, before leaving back to Rome on the 8th. In our next forum we’ll give you updates of what’s going on in Rome and Turin. NB: NOW A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE. We need to know as exactly as we can the names and numbers of athletes that will come (its’ not necessary now that it is the very last indication, but we need to know sex and age of students and adults to set the properly in the lodges).
